A typical day for a student at PRIED:
Welcome and Class Meeting
Review of current regional, national, and world events: students using their iPads, access multiple news feed apps and choose an article for review. Students then are then led to engage in a dialogue about the articles chosen, incorporating core curriculum subjects (math, geography, social studies, etc.)
Individualized curricular work: math, language arts/creative writing, foreign language
In line with contemporary thought on exercise and learning, focused physical activity intervals are embedded in between core curriculum work and throughout the day to promote academic performance.
